A search expert, respected entrepreneur, and successful investor, Bert Miller is highly regarded for his 35+ year career in business and 30+ years in executive recruitment. Throughout his career, Bert has consistently created enterprise value by scaling teams, advising growth-stage companies, and leading organizations through successful exits.

Bert was an early investor in Angel’s Envy (acquired by Bacardi) and Vybes, a fast-growing functional beverage brand. Today, he serves as a Board Member to A1RWATER and Advisor to fruitscoutai, guiding them on talent strategy, capital efficiency, and go-to-market execution.

In 2019, Bert acquired MRINetwork, one of the world’s largest executive search platforms, and led its transformation into a modern, digitally enabled organization. His leadership revitalized the brand and positioned it for scale, resulting in a successful acquisition by HireQuest, Inc. (Nasdaq: HQI) in December of 2022.

Earlier, Bert co-founded Protis Global, an award-winning executive search firm specializing in CPG categories including food, beverage, cannabis, and automation. Under his leadership, Protis helped build powerhouse brands like Red Bull North America, Diageo, and Hostess, and generated more than $120M in revenue, including $95M+ in permanent placement fees. The firm has ranked among MRINetwork’s Top 10 offices globally for 17 consecutive years.
